Weekly Roundup 10/21/22

Our PureVest Weekly Roundup covered a lot of ground this week. First, we looked at earnings reports from American Express and Netflix, which were better than expected. On the heels of the persistent inflation we have dealt with in 2022, the IRS announced updates to tax brackets, capital gains brackets, and a lot more adjustments for 2023. President Biden is authorizing the release of another 15 million barrels of oil to try and fight higher prices. On Monday, Apple’s next software update will be available.

There are different ways that you can potentially access money in retirement accounts before age 591/2 while avoiding the 10% penalty. The rule of 55 and rule 72T let you do just that; 2 articles below explain the details. We posted a link to our newest PureVest blog post on beneficiaries and wrapped it up with a preview of the NBA season which kicks off this week. Enjoy the light reading, and have a great weekend!
